The therapist places his little finger between the patient’s little finger and ring finger, the little finger of the right hand is placed between the latter’s thumb and index. This secures the patient’s little finger and thumb, while his palm is completely extended, oriented towards the therapist. The palm is then massaged as follows: along three lines, the first being the median, where 4 to 5 points will be pressed with overlapped thumbs, simultaneously on both sides. There are three repetition on all lines. The patient’s palm should be as extended as possible during the entire procedure.
This description presents the manner in which the procedure is performed on the left side of the patient. Similarly, the same steps are followed on the right side. In the standard version, the procedure is first performed on the left side and then on the right side.
