The massage of the buttocks with the palm

WARNING! The description of the procedures is indicative-mnemonic and is strictly addressed to learners, because it is imperative for the Yumeiho® instructors to acquire and apply them correctly, efficiently and without risk. The order and description of the procedures is in line with “YUMEIHO” – Instruction Manual for g. 1 – Krakow, 1997.

The therapist sits on his knees with the legs spread so that they can frame the patient’s thighs on both sides and he massages with the back of the hand the entire surface of the left gluteal muscles. A vertical pressing motion is performed as perpendicularly as possible on the muscular masses. The right hand is placed contralaterally (on the right buttock) to prevent the turning tendency of the pelvis. There are at least 25 repetitions.

This description presents the manner of execution of the procedure on the left side of the patient. Similarly, the same steps are followed on the right side. In the standard version, the procedure is first performed on the left side and then on the right side.
