WARNING! The description of the procedures is indicative-mnemonic and is strictly addressed to learners, because it is imperative for the Yumeiho® instructors to acquire and apply them correctly, efficiently and without risk. The order and description of the procedures is in line with “YUMEIHO” – Instruction Manual for g. 1 – Krakow, 1997.
The therapist kneels on the left side of the patient facing him. With both thumbs (overlapped) he massages the area between the great trochanter and the lateral superior iliac crest (the region of the fascia lata tensor muscle), in c. 3-5 points, at least 2 times. Then, using the same technique, the entire surface of the gluteal muscles is massaged, insisting on the most rigid areas (contracted). It must also be insisted around the hip joint and in the insertion points of the muscles on the pelvis bones.
This description presents the manner in which the procedure is performed on the left side of the patient. Similarly, the same steps are followed on the right side. In the standard version, the procedure is first performed on the left side and then on the right side.
