WARNING! The description of the procedures is indicative-mnemonic and is strictly addressed to learners, because it is imperative for the Yumeiho® instructors to acquire and apply them correctly, efficiently and without risk. The order and description of the procedures is in line with “YUMEIHO” – Instruction Manual for g. 1 – Krakow, 1997.
The therapist kneels framing with his legs both sides of the patient’s left calf and massages the left popliteal gap with the thumbs being kept parallel. Soft pressure is applied in 2 points, for 10 times. The pushing can be followed by pulling motions of the skin tissue towards the heel within its elasticity limit.
This description presents the manner in which the procedure is performed on the left side of the patient. Similarly, the same steps are followed on the right side. In the standard version, the procedure is first performed on the left side and then on the right side.
