The patient lies in ventral decubitus (lying on the stomach), he places his forehead on the fists brought together, slightly flexing the neck. The therapist sits on the patient’s buttocks. His fingers find support on the top of the patient’s head while the overlapped thumbs press ten times, for one second the point in the hollow of the joint between the spinal cord and the skull (the region of the medulla – medulla oblongata).
Subsequently, without changing the position of the body, three points (on the side of the occipital bone) are simultaneously massaged, left + right, with the thumb (using pressure or/and pulling motions towards the top of the head). There are three repetitions.
