The therapist sits with the soles in the lower third of the patient’s thighs and grabs with both hands the patient’s toes and presses them down gently to bring the heels close to the buttocks. Afterwards, the therapist flexes his knees and easily bends forward pressing the patient’s calves up to the maximum limit of mobility. There are two repetitions, the first one being performed very gently and carefully, without forcing. If the state of the patient allows it, a firmer movement is performed, slightly over the usual mobility limit previously tested.
