The patient lies on the right side so that the left leg to be flexed at the level of the knee in an approximate angle of 90°. His trunk is slightly rotated towards left, the left arm hanging in the back. The therapist kneels enclosing the patient’s left thigh between his thighs then he places his left palm on the level of the upper part of the patient’s left elbow. Using his right forearm, placed diagonally (with the elbow oriented towards the exterior) on the patient’s left buttock. The therapist pulls towards the pelvis (rolling it). Then, he uses his own weight, securing well the patient’s shoulder, to torsion the pelvis all the way (pushing with the elbow); a short, firm, supplementary and sudden pressure is applied at the end of the movement. There are two repetitions.
This description presents the manner in which the procedure is performed on the left side of the patient. Similarly, the same steps are followed on the right side. In the standard version, the procedure is first performed on the left side and then on the right side.
