WARNING! The description of the procedures is indicative-mnemonic and is strictly addressed to learners, because it is imperative for the Yumeiho® instructors to acquire and apply them correctly, efficiently and without risk. The order and description of the procedures is in line with “YUMEIHO” – Instruction Manual for g. 1 – Krakow, 1997.

The patient lies ventrally with the legs spread. The therapist kneels between his legs, grabs the toes with both hands and pushes the heel towards the buttocks using his own weight. A first motion is first performed slowly, easily, without forcing, until the maximum amplitude of the movement, then, if the patient tolerates the procedure, the movement is repeated, exceeding the usual maximum limit of the movement through a short and firm motion. The therapist intensifies the force if he senses resistance, however, without provoking a significant discomfort to the patient. There are two repetitions.
