Both the patient and the therapist maintain their positions described in the previous procedures. The therapist firmly grabs the supra-malleolus area with the right hand and the dorsal side of the patient’s leg with the left hand, then performs rotations of the ankle joint to the left and to the light – 5 rotations for each side, approximately. The rotations will be slow, at the maximum amplitude allowed.
This description presents the manner in which the procedure is performed on the left side of the patient. Similarly, the same steps are followed on the right side. In the standard version, the procedure is first performed on the left side and then on the right side.
